Dear Friends of Bethel,
Thank you for your interest in our website. We hope that this site enables you to see into our hearts. Our true hearts’ desire is to be a church that is pleasing to the “head of the church”, our Lord Jesus Christ (Eph. 5:23; Col. 1:18). We also want to serve the needs of those saints who strive to follow our Lord and aid those who are seeking the Lord with a sincere heart.
The ministry of Bethel Baptist Church is to equip the saints to glorify God by pressing “toward the mark” (Phil. 3:14) as well as to be a place of encouragement in a discouraging world (I Th. 5:18). We compassionately seek to evangelize those who are lost in sin and hopelessness (Jn. 1:7). We also strongly emphasize the need to be a church that is oriented around the edification of the saints through biblical preaching and teaching (II Tim. 4:2).
If you are searching for a church in our area, we would welcome your visit this Sunday. Your visit would give the wonderful people of Bethel the opportunity to show you and your family some real Christian hospitality (Rom. 12:13). We strongly urge you to be joined to a local New Testament Church of true believers in obedience to the instruction of Scripture. In times like these you need a church where you can find a place of service and a place where your spiritual needs can be provided (please read Heb. 10:25). “The day” is approaching – where will you be this Sunday?
